Elmorian RPG - Haven Castle - The Hunters Guild (Session #2)

The Hunter's Guild

• Ruby Qunizar and Tyrael the Exiled Drow relaxed and ate well in the Green Leaf inn after returning from defeating the Kobold Maritice Konn. 
• Haven Black Guild members have now heard of the pair who came back with a large number of kobold bounties and a rumor of their victory over a Kobold leader
• Baric Swifthammer revealed to them that yes Grim Tiffknot is a halfling who has swindled many of the members, and apparently is behind this kobold uprising
• News arrives in Haven of a lack of communication with the Hunters guild to the north - Baric wants the pair to go find out why since the Black Guild can't afford to have a large show of force in response.
• Turns out the Hunters guild was raided by a huge Kobold force, a bold move for the kobolds
• The pair found the guild guarded by kobolds but not a large number
• The inside of the guild was in disarray and both kobolds and human bodies were about. It appears that the raid took some people with them as well and it was overheard by Caleb (In the bottom floor a child named Caleb was down there sobbing) "You will be sacrificed to the great Cranabus !" as they left. A halfling was with them also. 
• An owlbear had made a nest in the top floor - Tyrael used a disintegrate spell to annihilate it
• Leaving the guild, and now knowing about the large force Ruby used her skills to track the army of kobolds back to where they came from. Which appears to head into the southern forests.........

Elmorian RGP - Haven Castle - Kobold Threat (Session #1)

Haven Castle, Kobold Threat, and Baric Swifthammer

• Ruby Qunizar and Tyrael the Exiled Drow arrived by boat to the continent of Yor, and trekked to Haven castle
• While there they met Baric Swifthammer, a leader in the Black Diamond guild which is sworn to protect those who come seeking a life in Haven
• Baric offered them contracts for sale to make a name for themselves - one that was a posted sign was about the Kobold nuisance that has been spreading in the north. 
• They also met Samantha Oakenleaf - an Elf in Exile - who had paid Baric recently for information on a different contact 
• Later in the Green Leaf inn, Ruby and Tyrael met a troupe of halflings celebrating with drink - at this time it was rumored that a 6th halfling was with them and had vanished
• Traveling north to find Kobolds to make money they fought several traveling groups of Kobolds and eventually tracked some to an abandon mine on the east side of the northern lands above Haven
• They had to create a distraction to break the hard defenses of the front of the mines, Tyrael leading them away and eventually flying on a floating disc to escape and give he and Ruby time to explore and enter the mines undetected. Eventually the distracted force came back and split up in attempting to find the intruders and were defeated (Ruby set their tent on fire, and stole treasure, while Tyrael hid inside the mines, splitting up the Kobold attack force and defeating them
• Inside the hideout they discovered a Cave Beetle nest where some kobolds had met their doom, and a worshipping area set  up for someone in the Kobold clan. They also while seeking treasure unlocked undead dwarven miners which nearly ended them - but they got a valueable magic necklace from that
• Eventually they broke into an inner sanctum in the mines and discovered a mage kobold named Maritice who also had a large pet lizard he was keeping. 
• Once they barged in they saw Maritice speaking to a halfling named Grime through a crystal ball - and calling him master - it seems Grime is the halfling that vanished but is in league with the Kobolds, and perhaps related to their recent rise up to be a nuisance - they also spotted a large map on the all seemingly with plans sketched out to attack Haven castle. Maritice burned the map before they had a chance to study it
• Eventually being victorious they returned to haven with their spoils and money and gained a repuation instantly as a pair that could help solve the kobold problem
• THey also found more information out that this Grime Tiffknot halfling came back from the north with ancient paintings, magic items, and other valuables which he traded for more platinuim = however, the next day these items turned to dust, hence what created a contract for him to be captured to pay for his crimes of fraud and tricking multiple guild members.
