Fumptar and Silven in the West Chambers of the Goblin Cave
Tyrael and Ruby standing in the midst of the mining cavern in the goblin cave started to scope out the west caverns in which they earlier had spotted stacks of equipment, and furs and spotted some kind of goblin priest, and Silven himself from Gobblebrook
Getting closer to the cavern they saw more Orcs of Gronk the Pillager working with the goblins and Silven, indicating the goblin miners they've been fighting are allied with Gronk. Before doing so Tyrael took his spellbook out and worked on his spells in prep. While prepping they were attacked by a few goblin patrols and dispatched them easily.
Targeting the west cavern again Ruby moved close enough for Tyrael to lure an Orc archer guard away and then move behind him for a quick kill. This allowed them to move close the main cavern where they heard the following:
Fumptar - a goblin priest king, talking with Silven about strategies for attacking Gobblebrook. In the chamber other goblins were working on building weapons and supplies. Moving as close as possible they rushed in to the source of the voices in an attempt for a surprise attack.
They found that Fumptar was wear a magic necklace of some kind that lashed out at attackers with a magical energy. The first blow Ruby landed on him had her shocked with magic and flying backwards. The blow weakened The goblin priest significantly though.
Silven began panicking and uttering that the "Northerners and Fara Killvine's forces were attacking" and packing furs up. At this an Orc Raider clearly allied with Gronk's forces shouted at him that they could not leave the artifact unguarded.
At the surprise of the attack the Orc Raider was still able to get several swings out against Tyrael but both missed. Then Tyrael unleashed his magic, blasting a powerful lightning bolt into the room against Silven which ricocheted against several goblins and b ack to Silven again killing them all.
Fumptar began to cast a Sanctuary spell to become invisible and threatened that Gronk was going to kill them all. Before he could become completely invisible Tyrael unleashed more magic striking him with an acid spray. After this Ruby moved in with her blades recovered from the magic blast back and finished him off. This time resisting the necklace magic
After this Ruby and Tyrael finished off the Orc Raider with their blades and dispatched the remaining goblins.
Opening the chest behind Fumptars throne, they found "the artifact" mentioned was a "Scepter of Elzar" which are detecting rods for finding the Elzar Rune Circle. This may be the strange item that was rumored that Fara Killvine gave to Silven before vanishing.
They gathered up the other magic items and equipment in the room, and bundled some raw furs and decided it would be best to head back to Gobblebrook with all their new knowledge and goods for a rest.
