Ambushing the Goblin Caravan

After stumbling upon the large goblin force being led by the strange "Rune Druids" Tyrael and Ruby slipped away to the shadows and waited planning their approach. Ruby waited for an opportunity and began following the easily trackable and sizable force of goblins.

Eventually they tracked their likely pathway along the lake south of Gobblebrook. They waited until nightfall and approached the forces encampment. There were patrols of goblins being sent to protect the main groups near the center. Hiding in the rocks of the nearby mountain foothills the two of them ambushed a patrol and killed them quickly in order to get closer to the main camp.

Once in view, a center tent could be seen with pockets of camp fires all around it surrounded by goblins. Coming in and out of the tents Tyrael could see the strange Rune Druids. 

Using magic, (Ruby or Tyrael?) slipped toward the tent under the spell of invisibility and slit the back of the tent open so that Tyrael could unleash an acidic cone magic into the tent sending the entire camp into disarray. 

Several Orc's wearing the crest of Gronk the Pillager were also there protecting the Rune Druids. The battle within the tent raged on between them, until Ruby and Tyreal began to get overwhelmed by the number attacking from all around. (They moved back and set the entire tent on fire) which gave them some time to recover and re-group.

One of the Rune Druids picked up an orb inscribed with Runes and turned it. once again hearing the words "For Cranabus" several nearby Goblins were instantly sacrificed by the magic and the Rune Druid became something else - a hulk like beast with massive strength. 

Unleashing all the magic left in him Tyrael brought the beast down, while Ruby continued to keep Goblins off of him. 

Eventually the fighting stopped as atleast a dozen or so various goblins slipped away in the darkness retreating from the massive battle. Both Tyrael and Ruby were in need of rest and recovery and they picked up what they could and slipped to the north with the intention of heading out into the Frost Mountains in the north to both escape notice for awhile, and track down the Frostspire for Mesco's familiar Chable.
